Powerful post.. I couldn't agree more, parents need to take a stronger stance on educating their children. It's not possible these days to protect kids from all the outrageous and explicit content in the media.

I believe parents’ must not act this fierce on just a mere video which is giving out awareness to the children about rape. This is something that parents should’ve taught them. The video is not about being intimate it is actually about public consciousness; it is about physical violence and harassment.

I cross post. Not all of my posts are tech related and I get some pretty good feedback from my FB friends. I need to start adding my posts to G+. Do you submit your posts just to your tech circle or do you make them all public?

I'm in the same boat - my facebook network has bitched at me in the past for cross-posting twitter so I don't do it anymore. Just like you, they couldn't give a crap — their loss!! Speaking of cross-posting, when are you gonna cross-post these techie posts to Moms Gone Geek? I use the posterous bookmarklet to cross-post my stuff and grab other gems I see on the web to share with our audience.

What plugin are you using for your +1 button? Like that it's in the upper left corner. I installed a plugin on our MGG WP but it sticks it at the bottom with the tweet and like buttons and I'd like it better up in the upper left like you have it.

Maybe you could write a post geared toward moms and families about how they might best benefit now and in the future from Google+ over Facebook. Might be a nice discussion topic too. I can't talk pain-free yet, but you and someone else could take on the topic. I'd love to hear about it. :)

I cross-post only if the item is something I truly think my FB audience will care about (which they don't. They only care when I post pics of my kids). I don't have much of a following on Twitter so it doesn't really matter what I post there. G+ (previously Buzz) is where I get the interaction I love.

I have been getting notices when I'm added to someone's circle. This may be because I created two friends circles: one of all my friends (with just their email) and one of friends who have made it on to Google+. Not sure if this is why, but in any case, I get a notification each time they add me in to their friends.

"In the APP: Would like to see circles where people have added ME." I think that's a feature, not an app problem. They don't let you see which of your friend's circles you're in. I'm still trying to get my head round the implications of that, at first I understood why they would do that now I'm not so sure...

Great review, I've not encountered any YouTube links using the mobile app yet, having them open in the app would be great but I think it would be ok if they opened in the YouTube app as is my experience with TweetDeck for Android. As I've mentioned in my blog post here http://goo.gl/OmY6r I think Google has finally gotten it right.

I'm really enjoying Music Beta by Google as well and it only took me three days to upload all my music, but that's because I didn't just let it roll. I miss the purchase music feature too, but it's not the end of the world for me at this point. I still like Amazon Cloud Player as well, but haven't used it since I set up Music Beta by Google.

I don't understand the "outrage" either. Being upset at Rihanna at this point in her career for being edgy, is like being upset at Hugh Hefner for having nudity in his magazine. I agree people need to focus on being parents and not barking at every entertainer they feel may be a bad influence. But if parents feel that strongly about it then they should just stop their kids from listening to Rihanna her mot recent album is titled Rated R for crying out loud, besides there's much worse out there in movies, tv and the internet, than what was featured in the Man Down video, I actually though it was pretty tame.

I've been using Music Beta by Google and I really like it a lot, the android app has a really easy to use interface, you can pretty much find any song, album or playlist in your library using one had, one thing that has made is stand out to me is the format support. I had no problem uploading pretty much all of my music without any problems. Only thing that's missing is music purchasing. I like the fact that I can buy music with the Amazon mp3 store app which has the cloud player built in, and I like that any music I buy from Amazon is automatically added to my cloud drive, the only problem I had with the service is that I could not upload a lot of my music which is in WMA format. I've never owned an iPod or an iPhone and I suspect that iTunes will be required to upload music to iCloud and more than likely there wont be an Android app :D so I guess that will probably preclude me from using iCloud.
